Kenneth Leonard

Kenneth Leonard was born in 1908 to James and Amy Louise Leonard in Rochester, Kent, England.

Amy Louise died in 1910, and in 1912 Kenneth emigrated to New Zealand with his father James and brother Geoffrey.

Kenneth was engaged to be married to Evelyn Clarice Rosa Parsons on 5 August 1929, and they married in 1930. They were living in Auckland at the time.

The family lived in Dunedin, then in Wellington, where Ken worked as the caretaker of the South British Building on Lambton Quay. The family had a flat on the roof of the building behind the facade.

Kenneth Leonard died in Dunedin in 1990.
